An exhibition space that exists 24/7, accessible for everyone’s eye. The Vitrine is located at the Afrikaanderplein Rotterdam and specially for it, I created a site specific work. SUPERBOX is there to attract the eye with its bold colours and shapes. Inspired by an object out of its surrounding, I undid it from its function and created an image, a painting and sculpture. As a theatre setting, a decor subtracted from reality, that is actually really real and even more unreal.
